You will always need to have more air on hand than you need- hense the 4500psi or 310BAR capacity of the AirHog Supreme. if you have a 15 gallon tank in your car and your car gets 10 mpg for example and you need to go 100 miles, you would put more than 10 gallons in your tank just to be safe. On the other hand, if your PCP is only 2000psi rated, then a 3000psi Scuba tank would be ample for your situation.
